Help Your Toddler Stimulate Their Growing Minds & Keep Them Busy!
Keeping Toddlers Busy aims to assist parents and their children with developmental activities suited for specific age groups. In each Age Group tab, you will find information about developmental milestones you typically see at that particular age. You will also see activities that aid in those areas of development, and any specifics of what you may need (supplies, instructions, etc.). Studies have shown that lack of play has detrimental effects on development, and how children interact with their surroundings. In fact, "it can inhibit social and emotional learning, and damage early child development." (R. Hywood, TSW Training, 2022) Incorporating just 10 minutes each day to a fun, brain-forward activity with your child will encourage healthy development in many areas, such as:
